LL Flooring Announces Leadership Appointments

Hard surface flooring retailer LL Flooring has added three new faces to its executive team.

Robert Madore has been named executive vice-president and chief financial officer, replacing interim CFO Terry Blanchard; Andrew Wadhams is now senior vice-president of retail and commercial sales; and Laura Massara has moved into the role of senior vice-president and marketing chief.

“LL Flooring is a leading specialty retailer with a unique offering in the flooring space, and I am honoured to join the team at a critical point in the company’s journey,” says Madore. “I look forward to collaborating with the entire executive team as we look to capture the opportunities ahead, and I am confident that my skill sets and expertise will allow me to help lead the successful execution of our strategies and drive value for all stakeholders.”

Madore brings more than 30 years of public company management, finance and accounting experience to LL Flooring. He has a record of leading and scaling financial operations while strengthening business performance, and extensive knowledge of the retail industry. He most recently served as interim CFO of global fitness franchisor F45 Training. Prior to joining F45, Madore served as CFO of the Cronos Group, American Eagle Outfitters and Ralph Lauren.

An accomplished retail and consumer products executive, Wadhams most recently was principal of the Wadhams Group, a company he founded to help brands define their offering, align and streamline practices, and deepen connections to customers. Before this, he served in a number of operations roles at California Closets, One Medical Group and Knowledge Universe. In addition, Wadhams spent more than 12 years in field leadership positions with Gap.

Massaro joined LL Flooring from Delta Air Lines, where she served as director of integrated marketing. Her marketing experience spans more than 20 years and also includes stints at Publicis Groupe’s Arc Worldwide in London, where she directed digital and retail strategy across a range of clients, and Ogilvy, Coca-Cola and Kraft Foods.

“Laura has developed and led marketing campaigns for some of the most well-known brands in the world, and we are excited to leverage her experience and insight as we continue building awareness of our brand,” says Tyson.
