Waterproof and dent resistant luxury flooring

Armstrong Flooring has introduced Pryzm, a waterproof luxury flooring product.

Design, dent- and wear-resistance, waterproof technology and quick installation are the hallmarks of this flagship product, the company says.

The 100 percent waterproof, wet mop friendly planks are suitable for high-moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, as well as basements and mudrooms, the company adds.

The floor’s commercial grade VisionGuard with AC4 wear layer protects against scratches, surface spills, stains, fading, scrapes and wear-through.

No acclimation time is needed and a reinforced thermoplastic core is said to enable a smooth installation over subfloors with irregularities and the installer can span large areas without the need for transition strips.

The planks are backed with an acoustical cork underlayment.
