Versatile tile underlayment uncoupling membranes

Prova-Flex Heat from Loxcreen Flooring Group is a membrane that provides versatility in the tile underlayment along with heating cable capabilities.

The membrane can accommodate multiple sizes of heating cables up to 5 mm thick and the deep locking channel design allows for the thicker cables to lay flush in the membrane while minimizing the overall thickness of the tile assembly.

Features include: 3 in. cable spacing; lightweight uncoupling with Shear Stress Control technology; open channels on the underside of the membrane that allow moisture to dissipate; 6 mm thick membrane; one mortar type for both the substrate to membrane and membrane to tile application; and, a polypropylene material to protect the substrate from moisture penetration.
