Two New Faces Join Ecore’s Board of Directors

Ecore International has added two new board members, Suzanne Folsom and Tom Wroe.

Folsom is an experienced independent director, C-suite executive and influential business leader with a global perspective. Having worked across all eight continents, she is an internationally recognized corporate governance expert and accomplished business partner with deep expertise in transformational business strategy; enterprise risk management; regulatory and compliance; cyber security; environmental, social and governance; global mergers and acquisitions; securities; complex litigation; crisis management; restructuring; government affairs; and global public policy.

Folsom has held numerous corporate leadership positions, including general counsel, chief compliance officer and senior vice-president of government affairs at United States Steel; executive vice-president, general counsel and chief compliance officer at private equity owned Academi; and vice-president, chief regulatory and compliance officer and deputy general counsel at Aig. She currently serves as senior vice-president and general counsel at Philip Morris International, and an advisor at financial technology company EqualFuture.

With experience in mergers and acquisitions, organizational optimization, innovation for growth and operational excellence, Wroe has led major global technology companies for more than 20 years with revenue in excess of $1 billion. His global expansion functional leadership has spanned across various sectors, including engineering, marketing and operations, with high proficiency in finance.

Wroe has 34 years of experience at Texas Instruments, where he led the sensors and controls business from 1995, to its divestiture in 2006. He also served as CEO at both Sensata Technologies and Apex Tool Group, and gained extensive private equity experience through Bain Capital.

In addition to the Ecore board, Folsom is a board member for the Advanced Metallurgical Group, ClearForce, Velux LLC and Global Leaders in the Law, while Wroe holds board member positions at Apex Tool Group, where he is chair, and Sensata Technologies and Chase Corp.

In addition to Folsom and Wroe, current Ecore board members are CEO Arthur Dodge, managing directors Robert Bernard and Michael DeRosa, Jan Bergen, Craig Dubitsky, Gene Otto and Joe Wood.
