By Clare Tattersall
Registration is now open for the 2027 edition of The International Surface Event (TISE).
The flagship gathering for flooring, stone and tile professionals — retailers, distributors, fabricators, installers and others across the industry — combines an extensive exhibition floor with four days of in-depth educational programming.
The event brings together leading brands and thought leaders to explore the latest developments in surface materials. Attendees can expect to see new design technologies, innovative products and forward-thinking solutions shaping the future of the industry.
Market-driven Innovation
The 2027 event welcomes major industry players including Engineered Floors, Mohawk Industries, Mannington Mills, AHF, Vermont Quarries, QEP/Roberts, Flow International and MTE Bridgesaw, alongside a growing list of exhibitors. Attendees will discover innovations addressing today’s market needs, from eco-luxury finishes that exceed environmental compliance requirements and contemporary luxury vinyl tile designs inspired by natural wood and stone, to health-focused antimicrobial carpet solutions, modular and recycled products supporting sustainability goals, cutting-edge stone fabrication equipment and premium materials, next-generation tools designed to boost operational efficiency, and workforce development initiatives tackling labour and infrastructure needs.
The redesigned exhibition layout features two specialized zones to make it easier for attendees to find the products and solutions most relevant to their businesses. Organized into Surfaces and Stone neighborhoods, the intuitive configuration simplifies navigation and helps attendees make the most of their time at TISE.
Immersive Learning Experiences
TISE 2027 will deliver an education program designed to address evolving industry demands through actionable solutions and classroom learning. Topics will span business optimization, advanced installation methods, effective marketing and technology adoption.
Returning programs include the Working with Natural Stone Architecture & Design Program and the Women’s Leadership Program, along with certifications, training sessions and seminars from the Natural Stone Institute (NSI), International Certified Flooring Installers Association, National Wood Flooring Association and other industry organizations.
The show floor will offer practical demonstrations and expert discussions. The Cage, presented by the Stone Fabricator’s Alliance, will showcase advanced fabrication methods designed to meet growing demands for precision and efficiency. An all-new Surfaces Education District will feature demonstrations and talks presented daily, while the Stone Theatre will showcase stone-focused content produced by NSI and Rockheads Group.
The National Installer of the Year competition will celebrate outstanding craftsmanship and recognize top talent, while the Best of TISE Awards will spotlight groundbreaking products shaping the marketplace.
The Education+ pass provides complete access to all educational sessions and materials, helping attendees maximize their learning investment. The all-new Connect+ pass offers five pre-scheduled meetings with exhibitors matched to attendees based on their product interests and business needs.
TISE 2027 serves as the year’s first major flooring industry event, taking place Feb. 2-4 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas.
