Shaw Industries Names New Brand Leaders

Shannon Cochran has been promoted to lead Shaw’s commercial brand, Patcraft.

“Shannon drives entrepreneurial success and empowerment and is able to quickly pivot to adapt to changing market needs while maintaining a focused passion for innovation,” says Brenda Knowles, vice-president of commercial marketing and product development for Shaw. “Her performance leadership is driven by customer insights across channels and segments, and by building strategic partnerships in the market and internally within the enterprise.”

In her new role, Cochran is responsible for Patcraft’s brand strategy and execution, leading its marketing team and maintaining leadership of the brand’s design team.

Previously, she served as vice-president of creative and design for Patcraft.

Cochran replaces Jeff West who was recently named brand leader of Shaw Contract.

“Jeff’s customer-centric approach to leadership and brand strategy inspires a positive team culture,” says Knowles. “We are excited for the energy and future-focused strategy Jeff will bring to Shaw Contract as he and the team continue to build upon the brand’s decades of success.”

West spent the last 10 years leading the Patcraft commercial brand and marketing team. He will now set strategic direction for Shaw Contract, working in close partnership with the company’s vice-president of global design, Reesie Duncan, as well as the product development and brand marketing teams, sales leadership, customer experience leadership and the broader commercial leadership team.

John Stephens previously held the position for 16 years. He has transitioned into Shaw’s residential marketing team as vice-president of consumer strategy, where he reports to recently-named vice-president of residential marketing and digital commerce, Nina LoCicero.
