Armstrong has expanded its commercial laminate flooring collections. In the Architectural Remnants Collection, there are two new colours in the Woodland Reclaim line: old original wood brown and old original barn grey. Woodland Reclaim simulates the look of nine reclaimed hardwoods — birch, red oak, sycamore, pine, teak, elm, ash, white oak and hickory. There are 16 unique planks in three widths. The company has also added the Global Reclaim design to the Architectural Remnants Collection. There are three reclaimed wood looks in the new line — apple wood, eucalyptus and maple. There are 18 planks with dusty blush tones. The company says Global Reclaim is designed for creating elegant looks in upscale retail environments. Armstrong has also expanded the Rustic Premium line in its Architectural Remnants collection. It has added Reclaimed American Chestnut to the line. The company says that with natural knots and mineral streaks, this new sepia brown tone gives chestnut a whole new look. In addition, Armstrong has added Forestry Mix to the collection. The new design combines three hardwood looks (hickory, white oak and red oak) and three colours (white-washed, grey-washed and brown-washed). Each colour has 24 planks that show the varied stain of each wood species. Armstrong has rounded out its new designs with Millwork Block. It creates the look of premium oak strips. There are 18 unique planks in Millwork Block. www.armstrong.com
