Rehau Appoints New Director of Floor Heating

Rehau has hired Michael Nicholson as director of floor heating for North America.

“Michael comes to us with extensive PEX industry and business development experience,” says Mark Hudoba, vice-president of the building solutions division. “His positive energy and collaborative spirit are captivating. I am truly looking forward to what we will accomplish with his input and increased focus on the important floor heating business segment.”

Nicholson brings 30 years of experience in business development and marketing to Rehau. He will lead the heating and cooling division, ensuring the business strategy aligns with customer needs to drive the execution of growth plans.

Most recently, Nicholson served as business director of new venture development at Uponor, a Finnish company that sells products for drinking water delivery, radiant heating and cooling. He was responsible for leading sales growth, margin enhancement, strategic development and execution road map for the company’s PP-RCT business. He also led the innovation and business development team efforts in North America, with a focus on solving customer needs, finding revenue opportunities and delivering diversification.

“I have a passion for uncovering incremental revenue opportunities and working across an organization to achieve results,” says Nicholson. “I bring to Rehau a solid mix of both analytical and creative thinking skills that I hope will inspire and empower the building solutions division to penetrate the market and drive sales for the radiant heating segment.”
