Paramount Global Surfaces fills out Management Team

Paramount Global Surfaces (PGS) has expanded its management team with three key positions.

The parent company of Ceramic Technics and Happy Floors made the announcement July 29, adding that these future-forward hires will provide synergy and increased efficiency.

John Herrera has been appointed vice-president of operations. He’s responsible for leading a shared service group that supports the divisional businesses within warehouse operations and distribution, supply chain management, safety and indirect sourcing.

“With current strains on supply, John has just the expertise and connections we need to continue to service our customers at the level they have come to expect,” says Ceramic Technics president, Kory Bowling.

Herrera has more than 35 years of executive leadership experience in global supply chain logistics and operations. His resume includes FedEx, GardaWorld and, most recently, Mr. Greens Produce where he served as director of safety.

Jason Neu has been named senior director of product. His previous leadership positions include president of Dichi Group and senior vice-president of global sourcing with Triton Holdings.

“Jason has a successful track record of bringing products to the market quickly,” says Peter Pasterski, executive vice-president of Happy Floors. “We are excited to add a growth leader and product sourcing expert to our team.”

Rounding out this team of new management hires is veteran floor covering executive, Kim Apostolos, who is director of luxury vinyl tile (LVT). Her previous leadership positions include vice-president of commercial sales at DuChateau and director of LVT sales at Mannington Mills.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to add Kim to our team,” says Bowling. “Thanks to her extensive knowledge of rigid flooring, we know she will lead us in the right direction by bringing relevant, exciting and innovative products to our customers.”

PGS is a leading developer, importer and distributor of premium, proprietary porcelain tile and other hard surface floor coverings used primarily in remodel and replacement solutions by both residential and commercial end users.

Earlier in July, the company was acquired by Platinum Equity from Linsalata Capital Partners in an undisclosed deal.
