Mohawk has introduced open grain oak hardwood flooring in 3 in. widths.
The planks are said to provide resistance to humidity and can be installed on any level.
The flooring also reinforces wood fibre for lasting wear resistance, the company says. Installation methods include glue, staple, nail and float.
Subfloors can be either wood or concrete.
