NWFA Leader Leaving for New Industry Role
After 13 years with the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), Brett Miller is departing the organization to pursue a new opportunity in the wood flooring industry.
“Brett has been an integral part of our team for more than a decade,” said NWFA president Stephanie Owen in a statement. “His experience, passion for the industry and commitment to our members have helped shape many of the education programs that define NWFA today. We are deeply grateful for his service and the impact he has made.”

Miller joined NWFA in January 2013. He has served in various leadership capacities during his tenure, most recently as vice-president of technical standards and industry partnerships.
His last day is Oct. 31.
Floor Daily reports that Miller is joining Olde Wood Ltd. in Magnolia, Ohio, as general manager. The company manufactures custom wide plank flooring and other unique reclaimed building materials.
NWFA will begin its search for his replacement to maintain technical expertise and support for key initiatives. Miller will serve as a consultant during the transition to ensure a smooth hand-off and allow the association to continue to benefit from his deep industry knowledge.
“While it is difficult to step away, I do so with immense gratitude and optimism for the NWFA’s continued growth and positive impact on the wood flooring community,” said Miller in a statement. “I look forward to remaining involved and supporting this great organization for many years to come.”
