Mohawk also continues price increases

DALLAS, Texas —  Mohawk has announced it will raise prices up to seven percent on all Mohawk-brand solid and select engineered hardwood flooring products, effective on all orders placed on or after August 5, 2013. “The cost of lumber continues to rise due to the demand for wood coupled with a slower supply response.  This sustained increase in raw materials impacts all levels of our hardwood production,” says Jamie Byrne, senior vice president of hard surfaces for Mohawk.
