Mia Bökmark Leaves SKF to Join Seco Tools

Mia Bökmark is the new vice-president of product management and research and development at Seco Tools.

“I am looking forward to working with a dedicated team whilst ensuring an open collaboration within the company and beyond,” says Bökmark.

Together with the organization, Bökmark will create a stronger connection to customers’ needs as well as speed up the development and deployment of new products, services and solutions. One clear aim is to create an alignment with the other divisions within Sandvik Machining Solutions, says the company, increasing the back-end collaboration.

Prior to joining Seco Tools, Bökmark was director of group marketing at SKF Group, where she worked for nearly 30 years. Other roles she held included global business and product development manager for the company’s automotive market and general manager of vehicle parts in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is also the founder of her own advisory company that bears her namesake.
