Mannington Mills’ President, CEO to Retire
Long-time Mannington Mills’ president and CEO, Russell Grizzle, has announced he will retire at the end of 2022.
“Over the past 12 years, Russell has successfully led Mannington through an enormous amount of change,” says the company’s board chair, Keith Campbell. “His steadfast leadership through acquisitions and divestitures, robust economic times and recessions, has helped us grow and thrive.”
A graduate of Harvard Business School‘s advanced management program, Grizzle joined Mannington Mills as chief operating officer in 2010. One year later, he succeeded Tom Davis as president and CEO.
Grizzle has more than 40 years of industry experience — the past 12 with Mannington Mills and prior to that with Milliken & Co.
To help ensure a solid transition, Mannington Commercial president Tom Pendley has assumed the transitional position of COO, with plans for him to assume the role of president and CEO upon Grizzle’s retirement Dec. 31.
