One-step Moisture Control from Laticrete

Construction solutions manufacturer Laticrete has launched Vapor Ban Primer W, a high-performance, water-based, all-in-one vapour barrier and primer that simplifies installation by eliminating the need to mix a two-part epoxy.

The next-generation product also supports healthier job site conditions. The epoxy-free solution is hypoallergenic, low-odour and has low volatile organic compounds, making it an ideal choice for installers sensitive to resins. The water-based, ready-to-use formula avoids the environmental and handling concerns common with traditional epoxies to offer a cleaner, more responsible alternative.

As it dries, Vapor Ban Primer W changes colour, giving installers a clear visual cue that the surface is ready for the next step.

Vapor Ban Primer W is moisture rated for 100 per cent relative humidity (RH) and has a moisture vapour emissions rate (MVER) up to 25 pounds.

The product is suitable for both new and existing concrete substrates.
