Kährs Reorganizes, Names New Commercial Officer
Kährs has announced it’s reshaping and strengthening its organization to continue its growth journey.
The Swedish manufacturer and distributor of flooring says it sees great potential for profitable growth in its two strong business segments, residential and commercial. To secure an even greater customer focus, the company is now reshaping its commercial team.
“(The) Kährs organization is now being adjusted to better reflect the company’s business model with focus on these two segments and with four distinct market areas in the residential segment, Nordics, west and south Europe, North America and emerging markets, including Russia,” said the company in a statement.
In addition, Kährs has announced the addition of Johan Lundgren as chief commercial officer (CCO) for its residential segment in the Nordics.
“We welcome Johan’s broad experience in developing sales channels and go-to market models in the Nordics,” says Kährs president and CEO, Johan Magnusson. “Besides his solid background driving sales excellence and digitalization throughout the value chain, he will bring important experience to Kährs in the transformation of sales into new ways to attract end-users and our customers.”
Lundgren is just one of several recent appointments who will be a member of Kährs Group’s management. Others include Andreas Berge, who has been appointed CCO commercial; Sean Brennan, who has been appointed CCO residential for North America; and Robert Bieger, who has been appointed CCO residential for west and south Europe. Alexei Pechorin is continuing on as CCO for residential emerging markets.
Current CCO of retail, Fredrik Alfredsson, has decided to leave for a new position outside Kährs after more than 25 years. Throughout this time, he served in various roles.
All changes will take effect Sept. 1.
