It’s the eucalyptus
Teragren has introduced a new product line, Vantage, which the company describes as a new generation in bamboo flooring — and the only engineered strand bamboo flooring that has its main components FSC certified. The Vantage platform features a 3 mm FSC-certified Xcora-strand bamboo wear layer over an 11 mm, seven-layer FSC-certified eucalyptus plywood core. Using seven layers of eucalyptus as a substrate creates an exceptionally stable product which is also very light, resulting in a floor that combines value, sturdiness and aesthetics.
