Industry Addition to WFCA Bolsters Group’s Lobbying Power
The move adds approximately 1,500 members to WFCA’s ranks and bolsters the group’s significant lobbying power.
“There is strength in numbers and we’ve joined WFCA to provide more muscle behind their efforts to advocate for our industry,” says Keith Spano, president of Flooring America/Flooring Canada, International Design Guild and the Floor Trader.
As part of the partnership, retail group members of Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring America, Flooring Canada, the Floor Trader and the International Design Guild are now also members of WFCA.
The move comes as CCA Global Partners and other industry leaders are combining resources to help solve the industry’s installation crisis alongside the efforts of the Floor Covering Education Foundation.
“We are all impacted by the same challenges to our industry and addressing them together as one powerful entity we can use our collective voices to push through and find resolutions,” says John Gilbert, president of Carpet One Floor & Home. “We are excited to be part of WFCA moving forward and to making meaningful contribution.”
