High and mighty
The new Elevations cement tile collection from Aguayo, shown at Coverings 2015, was inspired by terrain on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola where peaks reach over 10,000 feet high. There are six different designs; more than 50 different colours; and two different finishes (matte and satin). Aguayo tiles are hand-made from a blend of white and grey Portland cement, marble dust, fine aggregates and mineral pigments. The tiles are porous, but are factory pre-sealed and can be used for wet applications.
