Heating a room with the floor
NuHeat showcased its mat in-floor heating system at The International Surfaces Event (TISE) 2015 in Las Vegas in January. The mats heat tile, stone, laminate and engineered hardwood floors. They turn the floor into a room’s heat source. NuHeat standard mats are available in more than 60 square and rectangular sizes. Custom mats for rooms with curves and angles can be ordered (custom orders manufactured in three days). The system is a maintenance-free heating alternative. Mats use 12 watts per square foot, and generate heat of 41 BTUs per square foot. They are available in 120- and 240-volt systems. Mats secure to the subfloor with thinset. The NuHeat system has a 25-year warranty.
