Giving rubber new looks

Tarkett has expanded its rubber flooring collection with three new textured finishes: brushed aluminum, hand-trowelled concrete and hand-tooled leather. They give rubber flooring true, natural finishes in rich colours, Tarkett says in a release. The company says these new finishes are ideal for installations in the hospitality and corporate sectors. The new finishes were designed with complex etchings created from hand-drawn files. The new designs are available in both 12-in and 24-inch-square tiles. Tarkett made design changes in these new tiles to make cleaning easier. Tile surfaces are rounded. The company says this helps ensure that debris collection on the textured surfaces is minimized. www.tarkett.com
