Former Shaw Industries CEO Returns to Role

Shaw Industries Group has announced long-time former CEO Vance Bell has returned as chief executive.

He replaces Tim Baucon, who became CEO in 2021 after Bell stepped down to serve as chair.

Bell has been with Shaw for more than five decades. He joined the company in 1975, and became CEO in 2006, a role he held for 15 years.

Returning to the position, Bell recognized Baucom’s significant contributions to Shaw during his tenure and expressed appreciation for his leadership and commitment.

“During Tim’s 34-year career at Shaw, he has exhibited Shaw’s values of honesty, integrity and passion,” said Bell. “We thank Tim for his contributions to the company and wish him well in the future.”

Bell will continue to serve as chair in addition to his responsibilities as CEO.
