Fabric-look porcelain
Akdo has launched its La Chic collection of porcelain tiles. The new line reflects intricately woven old-world fabrics of Italy. The La Chic line offers detailed tiles in nine patterns with quilted and embroidered looks. In each of the eight La Chic colours offered, the nine patterns are packaged together in a random blend. The tiles come in rich beige Desert, pale olive Foret, off-white Grace, deep blue Ocean, charcoal Volcan and pale pink Quartz Rose. The colours are made from natural pigments and applied with a hand-brushed look. The tiles have a glaze made from recycled glass that is silk-screened on by hand. Akdo says this makes its La Chic collection versatile for any application.
