Domotex Asia/Chinafloor to Focus on Sustainability

Nature will take centre stage at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor as the theme of the leading flooring show in the Asia Pacific region.

Specifically titled Live with Nature, the three-day event will showcase flooring companies keeping up with consumer demand for sustainability. It will offer particular exposure and targeted visitor guidance for brands whose products align with green development objectives and place a strong emphasis on the latest lifestyle and consumption trends. The booths of these selected companies will be labelled ‘must-visit.’

“Nature, humanity and environment have always been our core values, which coincide with the promotional philosophy of (the show),” says Jerry Song, China general manager of sales at LX Hausys, a leading PVC flooring manufacturer from South Korea. ” We look forward to a successful showcase of our products at the show this year. Our brand has been constantly innovating and striving to create an enjoyable living space for customers, in synergy and harmony with nature and human well-being.”

Cadex, which forms part of Domotex Asia/Chinafloor, will feature creative displays that relate to the theme. A full-day conference, Design with Nature, will take place inside Cadex’s 600-square-metre space located in Hall 5.2 (dedicated to wood flooring) on the first day of the show. The panel includes renowned keynote speakers from the international architecture and design community, including Studio Marco Piva and Vudafieri Saverino Partners from Italy, More Design Office based in Shanghai, and Architect and Interiors magazine from India.

Domotex/Asia Chinafloor runs May 28-30. It will feature nearly 2.5 million square feet of exhibiting space spread throughout eight halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Centre. More than 1,600 exhibitors from over 40 countries will participate at the show.
