Coverings Sets 2027 Show Dates, Opens Awards
North America’s largest international tile and stone event has announced the dates for its 2027 trade show.
Coverings will return to Orlando April 6-9, and will be held at the Orange County Convention Centre for the next three years.
“Coverings is where the entire tile and stone ecosystem — from distributors, dealers, retailers and installers to architects, designers, builders, remodellers and fabricators — comes together to connect and form new relationships with industry peers and find the latest tile, stone and machinery product innovations,” says the show’s managing director, Jamie Rich.
Coverings has also opened submissions for its 2027 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards and nominations for the 2027 Coverings Rock Stars program.
The CID Awards honour exceptional achievements in the design and installation of ceramic tile and natural stone in residential, institutional and commercial projects. Eligible projects must have been completed between January 2025 and December 2026. Entrants may submit up to three projects, with each project eligible for entry in more than one category, provided it meets the relevant criteria.
Projects that demonstrate an original or unusual use of materials, incorporate innovative technology, reflect installation excellence or use notably sustainable materials and practices are of particular interest.
Entries will be judged separately on tile and stone installation and design across 11 categories: commercial ceramic tile design, residential ceramic tile design, commercial ceramic tile installation, residential ceramic tile installation, commercial stone design, residential stone design, commercial stone installation, residential stone installation, artistic design, artistic installation and other.
The Coverings Rock Stars recognizes professionals under the age of 35 for their industry involvement, career growth, leadership development, community and volunteer contributions, continuing education and other qualities that distinguish them as emerging leaders.
Professionals in the industry are encouraged to nominate individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to their careers, their communities and the continued growth of the industry. Multiple nominations are accepted and encouraged; self-nominations are not permitted.
Submissions for both the CID Awards and Rock Stars program are open until Dec. 3.
Registration for Coverings 2027 will open in early November.
