CCA Retail Group has a New VP of Merchandising
Consumer design expert Jennifer DeGloma has been named vice-president of merchandising for the CCA Retail Group.
“I’m really looking forward to working with these entrepreneurs,” says DeGloma. “I am excited to help them and make a difference in their livelihoods by utilizing my design background, but also leaning into my deep roots as an entrepreneur myself and from growing up in an entrepreneurial family.”
DeGloma brings a wealth of experience with leading international brands to her new role with the cooperative. Throughout her career, she has worked with Starbucks, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Z Gallerie. She has also served as director of product design and product development for Larson-Juhl. Most recently, she was director of merchandising development for Framebridge.
“I believe every product needs a story,” she says. “The consumer needs to connect with it and that concept is largely untapped in this industry.”
Before bringing her talents to the corporate sector, DeGloma was an interior designer at her own firm where she worked with residential, hospitality and commercial construction clients.
“Jennifer’s passion for design and product will complement our team,” says Keith Spano, president of Flooring America, Flooring Canada, the International Design Guild and Floor Trader. “She brings a unique perspective as someone who has been in our member’s shoes as an independent business owner, interior designer and a veteran retail merchant.”
DeGloma joins CCA Global Partners retail group at a critical time. The company is in the process of revolutionizing its physical merchandising, digital merchandising and visual merchandising to provide consumers an unparalleled shopping experience and continue moving into digital retail.
DeGloma will work alongside Cathey Gundlach Links on the merchandise team, where Gundlach Links is to transition to vice-president of digital merchandising.
