CCA Global Partners Reveals Convention Details

Canadian businessman and former Dragons’ Den millionaire investor Kevin O’Leary is the keynote speaker at CCA Global Partners retail group’s summer convention.

Held annually to unify retail brands Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring America, Flooring Canada, The Floor Trader and International Design Guild, this year’s event features a robust roster of speakers. Senior economist at ITR Economics Connor Lokar will discuss market indicators in the industry. General education sessions tackle a range of topics from business leadership, search engine optimization best practices, surface inspections and more.

There is also a women’s forum luncheon and regional network meetings. Plus, the newest generation of retail owners will gather for an evening of networking, camaraderie and nostalgia at a duelling pianos party.

Other highlights include 150,000 square feet of product displays in the exhibition hall, marketing sessions and merchandising deep dives.

The theme of this year’s event is The Future of Next. Convention content is designed to reflect the seismic shift that redefined retail over the last couple years, accelerated by the unprecedented global Covid-19 pandemic. As the way consumers shop has changed and continues to evolve, the convention will reveal to members how the company’s retail group is keeping up momentum and placing them at the forefront of retail moving into the future.

The summer convention takes place Aug. 8-10, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. It kicks off with a special tribute to retiring co-CEO Howard Brodsky. Brodsky co-founded CCA Global Partners with Alan Greenberg in 1984, and has led the company to groundbreaking heights and global recognition.
