Call for Entries for NSI Awards, Scholarships
The National Stone Institute (NSI) is now accepting submissions for its awards program.
The Pinnacle Awards honour projects whose beauty, creativity, ingenuity and craftsmanship exemplify professional mastery in the use of natural stone for commercial and residential applications. Awards are given in seven categories: commercial interior; commercial exterior; renovation/restoration; residential interior/exterior (single and multi-family); architectural carving/lettering/sculpture; public landscapes/parks/memorials; and kitchen/bath. A Grande Pinnacle Award will also be presented for the best overall project.
The Tucker Design Awards recognize design professionals whose projects achieve excellence in the use of natural stone in design and construction.
The Industry Recognition Awards celebrate individuals in the stone industry for exemplary contributions to the industry and association over several years. Available awards include the Migliore Award for Lifetime Achievement, Women in Stone Pioneer Award, Natural Stone Craftsman of the Year Award and David Fell Spirit of Service Award.
Pinnacle and Industry Recognition Awards submissions are due May 20. The awards presentation will take place at next year’s StoneExpo in Las Vegas.
Entries for the Tucker Design Awards must be received by July 14. Recipients will be celebrated during a separate ceremony in 2024, with details to be announced at a later date.
All awards are open to NSI members.
Entries are also now open for NSI’s two education grants until May 20. The Natural Stone Scholarship and Women in Stone Empowerment Scholarship provide hands-on learning opportunities for aspiring professionals interested in furthering their careers in the stone industry.
