New in Beaulieu Canada’s Regale hardwood collection is Malbec. The European white oak planks have a hand-scraped, brushed, distressed-look finish. They are 190 millimetres (7.5 inches) wide, and 1900 millimetres (74.8 inches) long. Malbec planks are 15 millimetres thick, with a four-millimetre wear layer. The locking system is tongue and groove. The planks can be installed over in-floor radiant heating. They’re designed for all three types of installation: glue- and nail-down, and floating.
