2016 Women in Stone Empowerment Scholarship

At the MIA+BSI Natural Stone Institute awards luncheon at Surfaces 2017 in Las Vegas, Nev., Jessica Lussier of Granit Design, located in Stanstead, Que., received the 2016 Women in Stone Empowerment Scholarship.

Lussier has been in the stone industry for less than three years, but she already knows this is where she wants to stay. She began her career working in insurance, before becoming account manager at Granit Design. Growing up around granite triggered her interest in the product.

Continuous training and learning is imperative to her future in the stone industry, Lussier says, and she looks forward to the opportunities awarded by this scholarship.
